The H2O Audio Amphibx Fit Waterproof Armband for Smartphones (Black) allows you to wear your smartphone or MP3 on your arm and safely take your device under water to a depth of 12'. For added convenience it can also be mounted to your bike's handle bars. This unit consists of a nylon armband and soft polyurethane nylon layered case. The case features a LatchTight closure system as well as a SealTight headphone connector.
The LatchTight system allows you to insert and seal your device into the case. The SealTight connector prevents water from seeping into the headphone port. The two connection points on the FIT are an internal male plug that connects to your device and an exterior female jack where you plug in your headphones. The case has a ClearTouch window which gives you full access to all your device's touch screen features such as controlling audio.
To ensure that you can use your device's touchscreen the case relies on little blue fingers inside to push your device up against the ClearTouch window. The FIT's touch fastened strap is secured to the sides of the case with D-rings and can be adjusted to fit different arm sizes. When strapped on it rests slightly off your arm using X-1's Stable FIT Buoy technology - a black spongy cube located on the under and back side of the case that not only keeps the unit afloat but stabilizes the strap.
When you are wearing the case above water this spongy cube allows air to circulate while connected to your arm. This is designed to minimize moisture between the case and your arm. For the cyclist the strap can be attached to the handlebars so you can concentrate and enjoy your ride. When not in use the strap can be removed from the case and stored separately.
